Most of the machinery were purchased and the centre had already completed seven projects. It had signed an agreement with the University of Bolton for medical textile product development. It had also formulated standards for nine medical textile products, such as surgical gowns, surgical drape, and perforated film absorbent dressing. The centre had also designed and fabricated two testing instruments for medical textiles.
