Social initiative:Participants at the ‘Sambhavana' interactive meeting on Saturday. HYDERABAD: Sixty-three persons belonging to diverse work groups showcased their unique projects designed for development of the society during an interactive meeting organised at Mahbub College in Secunderabad on Saturday. Under the aegis of Landmark Education, they developed projects as part of the Self-Expression and Leadership Programme (SELP) with a theme Sambhavana - a cause for a better society. Doctors, lawyers, businessmen, college students and employees from various fields are part of the SELP. Giving a powerpoint presentation, participants explained in detail about their projects that aimed at helping the needy. Some of the projects include ‘Pragathi' to ensure 100 per cent literacy at Kalinidi village in Krishna district, ‘Hasi', an entertainment programme for mentally challenged children, Clothes Bank to channelise old and used clothes to the poor and ‘Dakshina' to provide sustenance to ‘purohits,' Event Coordinator Christopher Blessing told reporters.
