Correspondent

NALGONDA: A police picket comprising one sub-inspector and 20 constables has been posted in Kambalapalli village of Chandampet mandal following clashes on Friday between two groups of Congress activists supporting MPP Sarvaiah and Sarpanch Govind.

Two special parties have been constituted to look out for 18 persons who are absconding. They owe allegiance to the Sarpanch.

Cases of rioting, exploding bombs and attempt to murder have been registered against them, Devarakonda DSP Ahmed Ali said on Saturday. Two persons sustained simple injuries in the clashes.
