Lift suspension: MLAs urge TRS
HYDERABAD: The three suspended MLAs of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) – E. Ravinder Reddy, Kaveti Sammaiah and K. Vidyasagar Rao – have appealed to the party leadership to revoke action against them as they adhered to the party line in abstaining from election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker today.
Though the party never asked them not to participate in the election, they told a press conference here that they volunteered to stay away from the proceedings as its disciplined followers.
They also said they were innocent and appealed to the leadership to lift the suspension. They promised their loyalty to party in future programmes.
