Varanasi: A 30-year-old journalist was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck in Lahengpur area near Jaunpur-Varanasi border on Saturday, police said here. Anil Yadav, journalist with Hindi daily Amar Ujala, was coming from a friend's house in Jaunpur on Saturday morning when the speeding truck collided with his motorcycle, killing him on the spot, they said. Mr. Yadav, a resident of Gazipur, is survived by eight family members, including his newly-wed wife, the police added. - PTI
