London: Skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan led from the front with an unbeaten century, his 12th Test hundred, as Sri Lanka fought back against England on the second day of the second Test at Lord's here on Saturday. At stumps, Sri Lanka was 231 for one, 255 runs behind England's first innings score of 486. Dilshan was batting on 127 after sharing a record-breaking first-wicket partnership of 207 with left-hander Tharanga Paranavitana (65). This was Sri Lanka's first century opening stand in a Test in England. Former captain Kumar Sangakkara was unbeaten on 13 at stumps. England missed a chance to separate the openers on 37 when Paranavitana, who was then on 13, edged fast bowler Steven Finn to Alastair Cook at third slip who spilled it.
