Rajini wins

Chennai: Krishnan Rajini of Moto-Rev India won the Superbikes (600 cc) class in the first round of the FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship at Sriperumbudur on Sunday.

The results (Provisional - all 6 laps): Group D (Open, 4-Stroke, 165cc): 1. K. Jagan (TVS Racing) (13m 11.639s); 2. Shyam Shankar (Moto-Rev) (13:14.463); 3. P. Devakumar (13:16.046). Novice (165cc): 1. Madhan (13:29.213); 2. Arjun EB (Apex Racing) (13:44.291); 3. Abhishek N (Moto-Rev) (13:56.184). Novice (130cc): 1. S. Prativ (14:45.900); 2. Rajesh Rathna Kumar (TVS Racing) (14:55.282); 3. Anand P (14:55.649).

Superbikes (Group A, 600cc — 8 laps): 1. Krishnan Rajini (Moto-Rev) (14:29.382); 2. Sumit Lucas Toppo (Preethi Racing) (14:31.778); 3. R. Deepak (Preethi Racing) (14:39.668).
