Udhagamandalam: Medium-pacer M. Jogaraj (five for 16) bowled an inspiring spell as Riverside Cricket Academy (RCA) defeated Little Masters CC by four wickets in the final of the TNCA-NDCA third division league here on Sunday. After bundling out Little Masters for 104, Riverside CA scored the required runs with four wickets to spare. The scores: Second division (semifinals): All Stars 169 (V. Anand 61, N. Mahboob Khan 32, M. Shanmugam three for 31, Pasupatheeswaran three for 40) lost to Colts 170 for two in 21.1 overs (R. Sivasathyan 81, M. Shanmugham 62 not out). Third division (final): Little Masters 104 (M. Jogaraj five for 16) lost to Riverside CA 105 for six in 18 overs . State-level chess The first State-level open chess tournament, jointly organised by the Rotary Club Salem South and Utility Forum of Chess, will be held at the St. John's MHSS, Convent Road, Alagapuram Periyapudur, Salem, on July 9 and 10.
