Guard nabbed

ETAH: Delhi Police have arrested an absconding security guard of the Delhi Metro railway and claim to have recovered cash stolen from a metro station.

Sanjay of Dholeswar village near here worked as a security guard for Delhi Metro and had escaped with approximately Rs.1 crore cash along with a colleague last week.

“Sanjay's house was raided here on Saturday night and two sealed packets of currency notes were recovered from him. He has been arrested while the details of the other accused are yet to be ascertained,” said Jalesar Arvind Kumar, Circle Officer.

His location was traced as his mobile was kept under surveillance, he added. - PTI
