Appeal for volunteers

KOCHI: Maithri, a 15-year-old NGO running a telephonic counselling service for suicide prevention, is looking for volunteers.

“If you'd like to support a cause but can't afford to donate money, you can donate your time instead. Volunteering can have a meaningful and positive impact on any community,” Mr. Pillai said.

Those interested to become volunteers may contact Mr. Pillai between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at 0484-2540530. A briefing for volunteers is being held on June 11.
