NTR Trust to mould youth as entrepreneurs

HYDERABAD: The NTR Memorial Trust signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Commonwealth Secretariat Group and Corporation Bank in Bangalore on Monday on moulding the youth in the State as successful entrepreneurs by providing them financial assistance.
The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer of the trust M. Venkat, Jose Morrell of the Commonwealth Secretariat and Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank Ramnath Pradeep. As per the understanding, the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Corporation Bank would extend financial assistance to the youth identified by the NTR Trust and help them succeed as entrepreneurs.
As part of its Youth Enterprise Financing programme to empower the youth towards self-reliance and self-sustenance, the youth selected under the scheme for production, service and manufacturing activities would be provided with Rs. 10 lakh loan each.
Chairman of Commonwealth Secretariat Group Ram Venuprasad, Asia Centre Regional Director Raj K. Mishra, Advisor to NTR Trust B.V. Chowdary and others were present.
