Air India in semifinals

NEW DELHI: Rajat Bhatia (two for 30 and 84 not out) guided Air India to a four-wicket win over Teddco Cricket Club in the quarterfinals of the 38th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament ere on Tuesday.

Put in, Teddco reached 221 for nine in 40 overs, built mainly around Prem Prabhat's 91. In response, Air India covered the distance with Bhatia playing the lead role, supported by Rohit Prakash and Chandan Madan.

The scores: Teddco Cricket Club 221 for nine in 40 overs (Prem Prabhat 91, Pawan Negi three for 49) lost to Air India 225 for six in 39.1 overs (Rajat Bhatia 84 n.o., Rohit Prakash 37, Chandan Madan 36) .
