New SP for CSG

PUDUKOTTAI: V. Sithannan assumed charge as the Superintendent of Police, Coastal Security Group, here on Wednesday.
He is the first Superintendent of Police to be posted in the Coastal Security Group in the district. His office has been accommodated temporarily at the camp office of Superintendent of Police, Pudukottai district.
S. Amsavalli, DSP, Coastal Security Group, Pattukottai, called on Mr. Sithannan and appraised the infrastructure in terms of marine police stations and surveillance boats available in the Pattukottai segment.
