KARIMNAGAR: TRS youth wing leaders staged a ‘dharna' in front of the Government Headquarters Hospital in Karimnagar on Wednesday demanding action against errant medical officers for the death of Rajaiah, an aged person, allegedly due to rabies in the town on Tuesday. The ‘dharna' was held under the leadership of town president Bejagam Madhu and attended by town TRS president S. Ravinder Singh. Speaking on the occasion, they alleged that the government headquarters hospital was plagued with several problems such as negligence of doctors in treating the patients and distribution of medicines. They said thepatients were being forced to purchase medicines from outside and they were medical examinations for various ailments and forced to approach private diagnostics centres.
