HYDERABAD: The Telugu version of eFresh portal which is said to be a one stop source of information for the entire agricultural supply chain from farm to plate was launched at a function here on Wednesday.

The English version ‘www.efreshindia.com' opened a few months ago and thereafter it is being developed in all popular regional languages.

Speaking on the occasion, CMD of Andhra Bank R. Ramachandran expressed hope that the portal would enable price discovery for farmers and eliminate exploitation by middlemen.

Chairman of AP State Cooperative Central Bank Y. Vijayender Reddy said the portal could aid farmers in finding the right machinery for use in these circumstances. CGM of NABARD P. Mohanaiah also spoke.
