Staff Reporter

KOCHI: The Kerala State Petroleum Traders Association will launch an agitation against the hike in petroleum prices.

The association, which is affiliated to the Federation of All India Petroleum Traders, pledged support for the nation-wide agitation to be launched by the federation to press its demands.

R. Sabarinath, joint secretary of the federation, said here on Wednesday that the Union government was sitting on a recommendation made by a high-level committee to hike dealer commission and curb the number of new petrol pumps across the country.
