HYDERABAD: Former Minister Konda Surekha has asked Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to first tender resignation and fight election from his native constituency without invoking the name of late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in his campaign. Taking exception to Mr. Reddy's remarks in Srikakulam that Congress leaders loyal to Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy should resign, Ms. Surekha observed that such comments only exposed his sense of insecurity.
“He is worried about his continuance as the Chief Minister after Botcha Satyanarayana was made the APCC president,” she said at a press conference here on Thursday.
She said all those gunning for them should resign and win fresh elections without using the image of YSR.
