Emirates extends ‘Summer Smiles' offer for Dubai

KOCHI: Emirates is extending the ‘Summer Smiles' special package till September 30 to enable tourists to enjoy their stay in Dubai at concessional rates, airline sales manager (central Kerala) Jayan Gopinathan said here on Friday.

The three-nights package, From Kochi to Dubai, would cost Rs.79,225 for two adults and two children.

The offer entails a lot of freebies. The airline is operating 14 flights a week from Kochi. The ticket fares (including return) are Rs.16,960 (economy), Rs.41,617 (business) and Rs.99,147 (first class), he said.

The airline, with 113 destinations in 66 countries, had recently added Basra and Geneva in its portfolio.

The Copenhagen flight would be launched in August this year, Mr. Gopinathan said here. There was eighty per cent occupancy in Emirates flights from Kochi, commercial travellers taking a major share. Customers may book tickets and apply for visas online.

Emirates had 28 per cent market share in air-travel in the Kochi-Dubai sector, he added.
