Launch agitation fast: Swamy

NEW DELHI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has said that it would be much better for Yoga guru Baba Ramdev to launch agitations than continuing with fasts.

In a statement on Friday, he said that the UPA was a ‘corrupt outfit,' fearful of elimination from public life if the campaign against corruption succeeded. Hence, Ramdev's fast would not bring about a change of attitude in such people. It was therefore better to launch agitations and mobilise for elections than continuing such fasts, he added.
