Traffic diversions for CCL match

VISAKHAPATNAM: There will be traffic diversions in view of the Celebrity Cricket League match to be played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium on Saturday.

The match would be held between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Spectators would be allowed into the stadium from 2 p.m. onwards and the gates would be closed at 4 p.m. The traffic restrictions will be in force from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Heavy vehicles going from Vijayawada towards Srikakulam would be diverted via Lankelapalem, Sabbavaram, Pendurthy and Anandapuram. Those going from Gajuwaka side towards Srikakulam and Vizianagaram would be diverted via NAD junction, Gopalapatnam and Pendurthy to reach Anandapuram and those going from MVP Colony side would be diverted via Hanumanthawaka junction and Sontyam.

All vehicles going from the city towards Srikakulam and Vizianagaram would be diverted via Yendada to Beach Road to rejoin the National Highway at Tagarapuvalasa. Those coming into the city would be diverted at Marikavalasa IT SEZ via Kapuluppada, Vignan School and Beach Road.

All vehicles going towards Anakapalle from Srikakulam would be diverted via Pendurthy and Sabbavaram and heavy vehicles coming to the city from Srikakulam would be diverted via Pendurthy and Sabbavaram.

The Yendada – Rushikonda Road will be made into a ‘one-way' and vehicles will be allowed to go from NH-5 towards Rushikonda but not the other way round during that time.

Those going to witness the match will be allowed to park their vehicles only at the designated slots around the stadium.

Those parking their vehicles on the service road of NH-5 would be liable for penal action.
