MANGALORE: Street Vendors' Association affiliated to the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has decided to intensify its agitation against Mangalore City Corporation for evicting the vendors from city bus stand and Government Lady Goschen Hospital areas. Honorary president of the association Sunil Kumar Bajal said in a release that an action committee had been formed to fight for the cause of street vendors. It would comprise representatives of the JD(S), CPI(M), DYFI, Students Federation of India (SFI), Dakshina Kannada Beedi Workers' Federation and others.
