Bigyan Chetana Manch concludes

Cuttack: The two-day State-level conference of Bigyan Chetana Manch concluded here on Sunday at ‘The Universe' premises with participants discussing various aspects of science and its development vis-à-vis the situation in our country.

The conference coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of eminent scientist Prafulla Chandra Rai and 100th year of winning Nobel Prize by Madam Curie.

This was for the first time the Orissa Chapter of the Manch organising a science conference in which students and researchers numbering over 200 displayed their projects and presented papers.

The conference was inaugurated by L.P Singh of Utkal University on Saturday in the presence of M.K. Singh of OUAT.

On the concluding day of the conference, the Mancha elected Jayprakash Das its president, while Siddharth Bhardwaj was elected secretary.
