Applications invited from school students for awards

COIMBATORE: Bharathi Yuva Kendra, Madurai, has invited applications from school students who have excelled in music, academics, sports, social service, dance, oratory, poetry writing, etc for the ‘Yuva Sree Kala Award'.

The organisations has also invited applications from students with excellence in the aforementioned fields for the ‘Swami Vivekananda Award'.

A release said the award distribution ceremony will be held at the respective districts across the State and also in Pondicherry. Students interested should send a copy of their proficiency certificates along with address and telephone number and a Rs. 10 self addressed envelope to Bharathi Yuva Kendra, F 171, Santhi Sadan Colony, Kochadai, Madurai 625 016. The applications should be sent within 30 days.
