Orissa halts land acquisition for five days

BHUBANESWAR: In a respite to anti-Posco agitators, the Orissa government on Sunday halted the land acquisition process for the steel plant project for five days at the proposed site near Paradip, in view of the ‘Rajo' festival.

The work would resume on June 17, Jagatsinghpur Collector N.C. Jena said. — PTI
