ONGC wins

NEW DELHI: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation defeated Air-India by six wickets in the final of the 38th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial cricket tournament, here on Sunday.

The scores: Air-India 225 for seven in 40 overs (Pawan Negi 66 n.o., R.R. Parida 41, Rohit Prakash 30, Sumit Narwal four for 71) lost to ONGC 226 for four in 37.4 overs (Mithun Manhas 82 n.o., Tanmay Srivastava 53, Sandeep Sharma 31).

Individual awards: Man-of-the-Match: Mithun Manhas; Best batsman: Mithun Manhas; Man of the tournament: Tanmay Srivastava; Best bowler: Vikas Tokas; Best all-rounder: Rajat Bhatia; Best upcoming player: Pawan Negi .
