AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhvadia has alleged that the “Gujarat memoirs” prepared under the instructions of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and put in a time capsule in Gandhinagar last year for the knowledge of posterity, contained only the “achievements” of the Modi government. Mr. Modhvadia claimed here on Wednesday that official sources told him that the capsule had 14 printed materials, all on various projects and policies of the Modi government, and 29 compact discs also on the Modi era. The capsule was lowered by Mr. Modi with much fanfare in the presence of veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani when the foundation stone of the Mahatma Mandir building was laid just before the beginning of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the State in May last year. The construction of the spacious structure was completed in a record time of less than eight months to hold the “Vibrant Gujarat Investors' Summit” held in January this year. The contents of the capsule, however, were kept a secret.
