PUDUCHERRY: The Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday demanded that the Supreme Court ban on the use of Endosulfan, an insecticide, be enforced in the Union Territory without delay. According to a release, the party said that though the apex court had asked all State government to impose ban, the territorial government had failed to comply. The enforcement had been delayed despite a delegation from the party meeting Chief Secretary R. Chandramohan recently and pressing for the ban. The party also sought the stand of the government in this matter.
