Workshop, screening of students' films on Saturday

KOLLAM: The ZFX School of Cinema is organising various cinema-related programmes at the Kadappakada Sports Club auditorium here on June 18.

Labour Minister Shibu Baby John will inaugurate the function which will be followed by a workshop on ‘new era and new cinema'. Chairman of the ZFX school actor Madhu will attend the workshop. The puja of a film to be produced by the school students will be held at 2 p.m. The cinema has been named Akaalam. Three short films produced by students, Jeevante Thudippu, Hailstone, and Realty Show, will be screened.
