Role of Polyurethanes and Epoxies

Higher critical problem in waterproofing : M/S J.K.Epoxies Maintenance & Technologies Pvt. Ltd., have been experiencing a wonderful high response from various customers since the last decade. We assure we will continue to put all our efforts to R & D in developing J.K.products to the new world of Waterproofing, Pressure Injection Grouting, Epoxy Treatment and Industrial Flooring.

I. Live Leakage Arresting : After the construction of the basements, retaining walls, multi storied building roof Slabs etc., water oozing, water dripping, dampness is an unsolved problem in most of the cases. The problems are analized and successfully solved by using J.K.Epoxies Waterproofing Compounds and Injection Grouts.

II. Expansion Joint Treatment : Polyurethane are very effective, long lasting when compared with Polysulphide Sealants which are widely used for expansion joints. The compound withstands the expansion contraction of the surface due to the temperature fluctuation.

III. Polyurethanes For Surface Coating : Effective waterproofing is one of the important requirements for any building in India. Poor planning and designing in the pre – construction stage and poor workmanship use of sub – standard material during the construction stage is often responsible for many of the leakages problems .

Polyurethane : Polyurethane products for the building industry are either single component or two component in nature. The single pack systems are solvent based and can be easily brushed or sprayed on any surface to give a clear protective film. Two pack systems are either solvent based or solvent free .

The customer should be careful in the selection of material and should insist on certain basic properties before choosing the waterproofing system.
