Details of immovable properties of IPS officers made public

NEW DELHI: Immovable assets of Indian Police Service officers, including those posted in the Capital, have been made public by the Union Home Ministry on its website.

According to details filed in 1993 and the same repeated in 2000, Police Commissioner B. K. Gupta owns two flats, a DDA flat at Alaknanda purchased for over Rs.2.66 lakh and another flat at Sarita Vihar for Rs.4.85 lakh.

Special Commissioner of Police Ajay Chadha owns a plot bought for Rs.3.9 lakh and another jointly with his wife in Jonti village, bought for Rs.11.50 lakh. While Special Commissioner B.S. Brar owns agricultural land in Punjab, Special Commissioner Ranjit Narayan does not have any immovable asset. Special Commissioner Satish Chandra has inherited a property in Allahabad worth Rs.6.15 lakh. He booked a flat in neighbouring Gurgaon worth over Rs.1.03 crore in 2009. Special Commissioner Vimla Mehra jointly owns a flat in Patparganj along with her former husband.

Special Commissioner P.N. Aggarwal has a flat worth Rs.45 lakh in Dwarka and Special Commissioner Aditya Arya has ancestral property worth Rs.10.5 lakh, a flat worth Rs.40 lakh in Mayur Vihar and two plots worth Rs.94,000 in Goa. Special Commissioner Maninder Singh Sandhu owns an office space in Jasola on leasehold worth Rs.2.10 crore jointly with his wife and son. Special Commissioner Dharmendra Kumar owned a property in Gurgaon along with his wife and daughter, which was relinquished by them to their daughter in 2010. Special Commissioner Deepak Mishra owns a flat in Mayur Vihar and a residential plot in Greater Noida.
