Sandhu advances

Chennai: Qualifier Harinder Pal Sandhu of India on Thursday made it to the quarterfinal stage of the PSA Challenger 15 Jena international squash tournament in Hawally, Kuwait.

He progressed when his rival Jaymie Haycocks of England retired hurt after the Indian with the Indian leading 11-8, 9-1. — PTI
