Eden Gardens gets three international matches

Mumbai: The Eden Gardens, Kolkata will be the venue for three home international matches between October and December 2011. The Eden will play host to the one-off Twenty20 against England, One-Day International against England and a Test match against the West Indies.

The dates of the home series matches have not been announced though by the BCCI's Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee which met at the Cricket Centre here on Saturday.

The BCCI also reiterated that it does not accept the reliability of the ball-tracking technology which is an integral part of the Decision Review System and that its position has been consistent.

The schedule: One-off Twenty20 match against England (Kolkata); ODIs against England (Kolkata, Mumbai, Mohali, Hyderabad and New Delhi); Test matches against the West Indies (Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi) . — Special Correspondent
