Unni Krishnan Pulikkal explaining his photography at an exhibition of diptychs in Berlin. THRISSUR: An exhibition of diptychs by a Thrissur-based photographer began at the Schmetterlingshorst Gallery at Treptow-Köpenick in Berlin on Saturday. A diptych is a photograph that uses two different or identical images side-by-side to create a single artistic statement. The two images can be in contact with each other or separated by a border or frame. Unni Krishnan Pulikkal is displaying a collection of 21 diptychs. The exhibition titled ‘Two in One', is being conducted by the Bezirkssportbund and Schmetterlingshorst Gallery with the support of the Department of Culture, Treptow-Kopenick.
