Mumbai: A 46-year-old man, who claimed to be an assistant director for a few small budget films, on Sunday allegedly killed his wife in suburban Charkop area, suspecting her of having an extra-marital affair, police said. Sangamitra Suryavanshi slit the throat of his wife Preeti (39), who worked as a manager in a private firm, at their rented residence, police said. – PTI
