VELLORE: Medical camps for relaxing the age limit of differently abled persons in Vellore district would be organised in various places. According to a press release, as per the advice of the Collector, medical camps to relax the age limit of differently abled persons would be conducted. A team of doctors would conduct the camps. The camps would be conducted as per the following schedule – at Ambur on June 22, Vaniyambadi on June 23, Tirupattur on June 24, Walajah on June 29, Arcot on June 30, Gudiyattam on July 1, Katpadi on July 4, Arakkonam on July 5 and Vellore on July 6. The differently abled persons should be between18 and 64 years of age. The percentage of disability should be 80 per cent and above and their names should be listed in the below poverty line category. Those who fulfill these criteria can attend the medical camps. They have been asked to bring their ration cards and photocopy of the differently abled identity card issued by the regional rehabilitation officer, the press release said.
