Minister Pratap Jena will release the results Marks memos to be sent to schools by June 30 CUTTACK: The results of Orissa annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination-2011 conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education (BSE) would be published on June 25, BSE President Satyakam Mishra said here on Monday. "The compilation, tabulation and printing of result booklets are all over and we are going to publish the results on Saturday morning at 9.30 am", Mishra said. At least 4.86 lakh students appeared the examinations in about 2200 examination centers across the State in April this year. The answer scripts were evaluated in over 80 evaluation centers in May. The tabulation of marks was done at an undisclosed computer firm in Kolkota while the printing of result booklets was also done at a printing press outside the State, sources said. State School and Mass Education Minister Pratap Jena would make the results public here on June 25 and the result booklets would be simultaneously sold at 33 important schools of the State on the same day. Websites The results and individual marks of the candidates would be also available in the Internet in five websites. The results would be available through SMS also, sources said. The results could be accessed in websites of www.exametc.com, www.examresults.nic.in, www.schools9.com, www.orissaresults.nic.in and www.indiaresults.com from 10 am on the same day. Similarly, the results could also be accessed in mobile phones through SMS. The regular students shall go to the message box of their cell phones and type OBSE <roll number> and send it to either 57333 or 56506. And ex-regular students should type XOBSE <roll number> and send it to 5676999. The BSE president further said adequate precautionary measures have been taken to ensure that the result booklets are not available to any public before the official publication of results. “We have warned the officers and employees of the Board that if any report of leakage of results is received, then strong disciplinary action would be initiated against the erring staff,” Mr. Mishra said. “The Board would send the memorandum of certificates with photographs of the candidates on it and mark sheets to their respective schools by June 30. In case the school finds any error in certificates, it should be immediately brought to the notice of their zonal office so that the errors are rectified soon,” Mr. Mishra said.
