Realtor hits partner with pistol butt

It is alleged that Suresh reportedly owed Rs.20 lakh to Ramji and has been delaying payment


VISAKHAPATNAM: A financial dispute between two partners led to one of them hitting on the head of the other with a pistol butt resulting in minor injuries.

Botcha Suresh Kumar of Hema Constructions and M. Ramji, both partners in real estate business, were staying in an apartment complex near Century Club in the city. While Ramji buys lands, Suresh develops and constructs apartments. Suresh reportedly owed Rs.20 lakh to Ramji in some deal and has been delaying payment of the money. Ramji went to Suresh's house and sought payment. An altercation ensued following which Suresh reportedly took out his pistol and hit Ramji on his head with it. On a complaint filed by the victim, the Two Town Police registered a case. Inspector SSV Prasada Rao said that Ramji sustained simple injuries and was discharged after treatment.
