Corporate schools ransacked

AISF and AIYF activists ransacking furniture in Bhashyam model school in Kadapa on Monday.

KADAPA: AISF and AIYF activists ransacked furniture in Kesava Reddy and Bhashyam schools in Kadapa, tore and burnt hoardings and banners and locked the gates of the schools on Monday alleging that they lack government recognition but are admitting students. AISF district president G. Maddileti, secretary P. Mahesh, AIYF district secretary S. Sreenivasulu and secretary N. Venkatasiva demanded booking of criminal cases and closing down of 41 corporate schools which are functioning without the stipulated approvals but are admitting students. They sent students home and damaged chairs and tables.
