Online registration for SSLC students

Registration of students done at 257 schools Employment registration cards issued on the spot
Tirupur: Collector M. Mathivanan on Monday inaugurated the online registration of students who had completed Class X examinations (SSLC and matriculation) this year with the district employment office, at the school level itself.
District Employment Officer A Jyothimani told The Hindu that the registration of 29,959 students who had written Class X examinations from the district this year, thus, would be carried out by the respective 257 schools and employment registration cards issued to them on the spot.
Failed students
“The registration is being done for the students who passed the examination as well as those who have failed,” she said.
Of the 29,959 students, as many as 24,941 candidates had emerged successful.
Programme
After launching the programme, Mr. Mathivanan handed over employment registration cards to students who passed out from Nanjappa Corporation Higher Secondary School and Jaiva Bhai Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School in the city.
Chief Educational Officer T. Rajendiran and others were present during the launch of the programme.
