Entries invited for light music contest

HYDERABAD: Navya Nataka Samiti, Hyderabad is organising the fifteenth A.V. Savithri Light Music Competitions on July 17.

The competitions will be held in light music for amateur singers in the city. Participants will not be allowed to enter the competition with film songs.

Competitions will be held in three sections -the seniors section for contestants between 16 and 22 years, juniors section between 11 and 15 years and sub-junior section between 6 and 10 years. A younger contestant can compete in a senior section, but an elder contestant cannot compete in younger sections.

The lyrics should be in Telugu or Hindi and script for the songs should be submitted along with the entry form. Last date for submitting of the entry forms is July 10.
