Accreditation granted

KOCHI: Ethics in healthcare are no different from those applicable to each one of us, said noted ophthalmologist S. S. Badrinath, founder and Emeritus chairman, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a function organised to award the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) accreditation to Giridhar Eye Institute (GEI) on Sunday.

At the function, which was attended by several dignitaries, including Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer, Dr. Badrinath handed over the accredidation certifiacte to Dr. A. Giridhar, medical director of GEI. Murali Srinivas, technical advisor, NABH, delivered the keynote address.
