Loan eligibility cards' distribution from today

HYDERABAD: Revenue Minister N. Raghuveera Reddy has sent letters to all the people's representatives seeking their cooperation for the success of distribution of loan eligibility cards to licensed cultivators of leased land.
Cooperation sought
Mr. Raghuveera Reddy in his letters to the MPs, MLAs and MLCs on Monday, sought their cooperation to take up the loan eligibility card distribution programme in their constituencies on a large scale from June 21 to July 15. The State was the first in the country to promulgate an ordinance to benefit licensed cultivators while protecting the rights of the land owners.
The cards would enable the licensed cultivators to avail bank loans, seeds and fertilisers on subsidy and also the input subsidy when crops were damaged due to natural calamities, he said.
