Sloth bear captured

Bangalore: A wild male sloth bear, a frequent visitor at the Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) campus, was captured on Monday by the authorities. R. Raju, BBP's Executive Director, told The Hindu that the animal's age was yet to be ascertained. “We captured it as we did not want it to attack the local people,” he said.
