Grievances meeting decentralized

Tirupur: Starting Monday (June 20), the weekly grievances meeting conducted by the district administration at Collectorate every Monday has been decentralised to revenue divisional level too.

Sources said that grievances meeting would now be held simultaneously at the offices of Revenue Divisional Officers at Dharapuram, Udumalpet and Tirupur, along with the one organsied directly by the District Collector at the Collectorate, every Monday.

The move was to help people from far away places avoid travelling all the way to the Collectorate to submit their petitions seeking redressal on various issues, sources added.
