HIGH-END:The sleek and powerful machine, known for its exploits on the racing circuit, offers style, features and technology. BANGALORE: At least two generations have drooled over it and now it's here. Ducati, one of the leading bike manufacturers in the world, launched its much-awaited model, Diavel, here earlier in the week. The sleek and powerful machine, known for its exploits in the racing circuit, offers style, features and technology. Ducati already has the Monster and Superbike in the Indian market. The Diavel carbon is the second version of the Diavel series with carbon fibre bodywork. “It's not just a bike: it provides an image for the rider. We want to offer people a riding experience that riders have all over the world: an experience that cannot be rivalled,” said Mirko Bordiga, CEO of Ducati Asia Pacific, at the launch. According to him, pricing the Ducatis for the Indian market was tough. For the after sales care, Ducati is offering mobile service banks across Karnataka. The showroom, operated by Matrix Agencies in Bangalore, is the fourth in India. Ducati bikes are available in the range between Rs. 8.5 lakh and Rs. 22.43 lakh. “We're hoping to expand to six more showrooms in India as we want to make it a very significant bike in the country,” said Ashish Chordia, CEO, Ducati India.
