Belgaum: Minister for Cooperation Laxman Savadi has called upon the youth to stay away from drugs and alcohol as the country's future rested on their shoulders. “If today's youth is weak, the nation cannot be strong tomorrow,” he said. He was speaking at a function held to distribute ownership documents to 650 beneficiaries under the Basava-Indira Awas Yojana at Gomatesh Vidyapeeth here on Monday. The Minster appealed to the farmers to make use of the agricultural loans made available by the State Government at only 1 per cent interest rate.
