Talk to the Lokayukta about corruption

In the light of the ongoing national debate on corruption and the imminent retirement of one of the country's crusaders against corruption, The Hindu is organising a live interaction with Karnataka Lokayukta N. Santosh Hegde on its premises in Bangalore at 3 p.m. on July 2.

The programme to be held as part of The Hindu's Reader Connect programme, It's Official.

Mr. Hegde will address the issue of corruption in its varied forms and discuss ways by which citizens can fight this scourge.

He will also discuss the institution of the Lokayukta and his own experience in fighting institutionalised corruption.

Those interested in participating in the interactive session may mail their suggestions or grievances, in less than 200 words, to It's Official, The Hindu, 19 & 21, Bhagwan Mahaveer Road (Infantry Road), Bangalore 560001 or itsofficial.thehindu@gmail.com. The first 25 readers will be invited to the interaction.
