Woman found hanging

AMBUR: A young woman committed suicide hours after her marriage on Tuesday night. Police have arrested her husband Sundaramoorthy alias Loganathan (29).

According to police, Anitha (19), a resident of Pudumanai Colony was in love with Sundaramoorthy of Kollaimedu in Varadalapet. On Tuesday, Sundaramoorthy had gone to meet Anitha at her house when villagers spotted them and forced them to get married.

However, Anitha was found hanging at her husband's house on Tuesday night. The Veppankuppam police have registered.
