Bank of India branch opened

VISAKHAPATNAM: Divisional Railway Manager N. Kasinath on Wednesday inaugurated Bank of India's Kancharapalem branch. He hoped the branch would cater to the banking needs of the locals.

Bank of India Zonal Manager G.L.N. Sastry who presided over the meeting said another branch would soon be opened at Muralinagar. The bank now has 94 branches in Visakhapatnam zone,including 14 in the city.

As many as 24 ATMs had been opened in the zone last year, he said. The bank's Bingo and Gift cards introduced for students recently have been a big success. The bank's deputy general manager T. Sekhar and Bank of India Officers' Association State general secretary A.V.V. Raghava Rao spoke.

Senior Managers V. Kamalakara Rao and R.V.K. Prasad, Managers Ananda Rao, T.V. Sanchi and Bank of India Officers' Association assistant general secretary R.D. Krupavaram participated.
