NEW DELHI: Two ex-Servicemen have been arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police along with two of their accomplices for allegedly duping over 200 people seeking jobs in the Indian Army. The racket was unearthed after one Ishwar Singh lodged a complaint that some persons had cheated him of Rs.11 lakh on the pretext of getting Army jobs for his three nephews. Investigations revealed that the gang had been operating in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Ram Babu Shukla (45) near Pitampura metro rail station in Delhi. At his instance, his three accomplices -- Maan Singh (43), Shiv Narain (40) and Sanjay Misra (33) -- were arrested at New Delhi railway station. They were in the Capital to trap more job seekers.
